Stand Up India Scheme

The Scheme aims to promote entrepreneurship among Scheduled Caste/Schedule Tribe and Women.
Key Points:
I. It provides composite loan for setting up any new enterprise, between Rs. 10 lakh and upto Rs.100 lakh.
II. It provides RuPay Debit Card for withdrawal of working capital.
III. The scheme seeks to develop credit history of borrowers.
IV. The government will open a refinance window through Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) with an initial amount of Rs.10, 000 crore.
V. The scheme will also facilitate the creation of a corpus of Rs. 5,000 crore for credit guarantee through National Credit Guarantee Trustee Company (NCGTC).
VI. It will also provide handholding support for borrowers with comprehensive support for pre loan training needs, facilitating loan, factoring, marketing etc.
VII. It is accompanied with the launch of a Web Portal for online registration and support services.

Start Up India Scheme

The scheme aims to push for Entrepreneurship in the country by providing enabling environment for the entrepreneurs.
Key Points:
I. Funds of Fund worth Rs 10,000 Crore will be created, for development and growth of innovative enterprises.
II. Credit Guarantee Fund – Rs 500 Crore per year over next 4 years.
III. Profits of Start-up units will be tax-free for 3 years.
IV. No labour Inspection for 3 years instead self-certification based regime to be followed.
V. Quicker and subsidized (i.e. 80%) patent clearance mechanism to be evolved.
VI. New mobile App to register Start-ups & apply for Online Clearances will be operational from April 1, 2016.
VII. Provision of easier exits (within 90 days) for failed ventures under the Bankruptcy and Insolvency Bill, 2015.
VIII500 sector specific incubators, including 5 new Bio clusters will be established across the country.
IX. Under this, 35 new incubators, 7 new research parks, 31 innovation centers will be set up at the National institutes under the public private partnership mode.
X. Under Atal Innovation Mission, seeds fund and Pre- incubation training will be given.
XI. Capital gains tax to be exempted for venture capital investments. The exemption, however, will be applicable only when only when the proceeds are invested in another startup.
XII. An innovation programme will be launched in 5 lakh schools across the country to nurture innovation among 10 lakh children.
XIII. To protect intellectual Property Rights, a new scheme will be developed.

Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana

The scheme aims to provide Free LPG connections to Women from BPL Households.
Key Points:
I. Rs 8000 crore has been earmarked for providing five crore LPG connections to BPL households.
II. The Scheme provides a financial support of Rs 1600 for each LPG connection to the BPL households.
III. The Scheme would be implemented over three years, namely, the FY 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19.
IV. In the budget for 2016-17, Rs 2000 Crores have been allocted for the scheme, which will provide free LPG connections to 1.5 crore women.
Note: i) This is the first time in the history of the country that the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas would implement a welfare scheme benefitting crores of women belonging to the poorest households.
ii) The identification of eligible BPL families will be made in consultation with the State Governments and the Union Territories.

Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana

Key Points:
I. There will be a uniform premium of only 2% to be paid by farmers for all Kharif crops and 1.5% for all Rabi crops, while for annual commercial and horticultural crops it is only 5%.
Balance premium will be paid by the Government to provide full insured amount to the farmers against crop loss on account of natural calamities.
II. There is no upper limit on Government subsidy. Even if balance premium is 90%, it will be borne by the Government.
III. There is no provision of capping the premium rate. Thus, farmers will get claim against full sum insured without any reduction.
IV. The use of technology will be encouraged to a great extent.

Setu Bharatam Project

‘Setubharatam’ project aims to make all National Highways railway crossing free by the year 2019, in order to prevent the frequent accidents and loss of lives at level crossings.
Key Points:
I. Under the project, 208 Railway Over Bridges (ROB)/Railway Under Bridges (RUB) will be built at the level crossings at a cost of Rs. 20,800 crore.
II. In addition, 1500 new bridges are also proposed to be constructed to replace the old bridges.

Swachh Paryatan Mobile App

This project is being implemented by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India through DeGS and NIC. This Mobile App is available on Google Search Engine as ‘Swachh Paryatan’ and initially it is available on Android Phones. This mobile app shall be monitored by the Project Monitoring Unit of Swachh Bharat Mission in Ministry of Tourism.
Dr. Mahesh Sharma, while launching this app, said since the general public and the tourists are the largest stakeholders in keeping the monuments clean, the Ministry of Tourism has decided to facilitate the general public to communicate their complaints about any unclean area/garbage piles in and around tourist destinations. So, the Ministry of Tourism is launching this Mobile App.

 Gram Uday to Bharat Uday Abhiyan (14th to 24th April, 2016)

Dr Jitendra Singh launched the “Gram Uday Se Bharat Uday” Abhiyan in Udhampur on April 14, 2016. This campaign aims to generate nation-wide efforts to increase social harmony across villages, strengthen Panchayati Raj, promote rural development, and foster farmers’ progress.
A ‘Social Harmony Programme’ will be conducted during (14th April to 16th April, 2016) in all Gram Panchayats. In this programme, villagers will honour Dr. Ambedkar, and resolve to strengthen social harmony.
Between 17th April to 20th April, 2016 ‘Village Farmer Assemblies’ will be organized in Gram Panchayats.
Gram Sabha meetings will be held from 21-24th April, 2016 across the country.

  5. वृत्त की जीवा का लम्ब समद्विभाजक वृत्त केंद्र से होकर गुजरता है

प्रश्न – 1- एक परीक्षा में 1000 लडके और 800 लडकीयॉं शामिल होती हैं, यदि 60% लडके तथा 50% लडकीयॉं उत्तीर्ण होती हैं, तो अनुत्तीर्ण या असफल छात्रों का प्रतिशत ज्ञात करें? 
हल :-
उत्तीर्ण लडके = 60%
इसलिये अनुत्तीर्ण लडके = 100-60 = 40%
1000 का 40% = 400
इसी प्रकार अनुत्तीर्ण लडकीयॉं = 100-50 = 50%
800 का 50%= 400
कुल छात्र = 1000+800 = 1800
कुल अनुत्तीर्ण = 400+400 = 800
अत: 

प्रश्न – 2. एक विद्यालय से 2 सालों में क्रमश: 100 तथा 75 छात्र एक परीक्षा में शामिल होते हैं, उनमें से क्रमश: 75% तथा 60% छात्र सफल होते हैं, तो सफलता की औसत दर क्या है? 
हल:-
पहले वर्ष सफल छात्र = 
इसी प्रकार दूसरे वर्ष = 
कुल सफल छात्र = 75+45 = 120
अत: सफलता का प्रतिशत = 
प्रश्न – 3-एक कर्मचारी का भत्ता उसके मूल वेतन का 165% है, यदि उसे कुल वेतन 11925/- मिलता है तो उसका मूल वेतन कितना है?
हल: – कुल वेतन = भत्ता + मूलवेतन = 165%+100% = 11925
265% = 11925
1%=   
अत: मूलवेतन जो कि 100% होगा
100% = 45 X 100 = 4500  उत्तर
प्रश्न – 4 एक शहर की जंसंख्या 3,11,250 है, महिलाओं तथा पुरुषों का अनुपात 43:40 है, यदि महिलाओं मे 24% शिक्षित हैं तथा पुरुषों में 10% निरक्षर हैं , तो शहर में शिक्षितोंं की संख्या क्या है? 
हल:-
महिलाओं की कुल संख्या = 
शिक्षित महिलायें = 
इसी प्रकार पुरुषों की संख्या = 
पुरुषों में 10% निरक्षर हैं, अत: 90% साक्षर हैं
अत: शिक्षित पुरुषों की संख्या = 
अत: कुल साक्षर = 38700+135000= 173700


प्रश्न – 5-वर्ष 2008 में 31% कर्मचारी टैक्स भुगतान करते हैं , टैक्स नहीं देने वाले कर्मचारीयों की संख्या 27,600 है, तो कर्मचारीयों की कुल संख्या क्या है?
हल :-
टैक्स नहीं देने वाले कर्मचारीयों का प्रतिशत – (100-31)= 69%
अत: 69% = 27600
इसलिये 
अत: 100% = 400 X 100 = 40000 उत्तर
प्रश्न – 6-एक बक्से में 100 नीली, 50 लाल तथा 50 काली गेंदेंं हैं , 25% नीली गेंदें तथा 50% लाल गेंदें निकाल ली गई, तो वर्तमान में कितने प्रतिशत काली गेंदें हैं ?
हल:-  बक्से में कुल गेंदें = 100+50+50 = 200
25% नीली गेंदे निकालने के बाद बची नीली गेंदें = 75
50% लाल गेंदें निकालने के बाद बची लाल गेंदें = 25
वर्तमान में बची कुल गेंदें = 200-75-25= 100
काली गेंदों की संख्या = 50
अत: काली गेंदों का प्रतिशत = 50% होगा


प्रश्न – 7-एक दर्जन जोडी मोजों का अंकित मूल्य 180/- है, और उस पर 20% छूट दी जाती है, तो 48 रु0 में कितने जोडी मोजे खरीदे जा सकते हैं ?
हल :-
छूट देने के बाद एक दर्जन मोजों का क्रय मूल्य
अत: एक जोडी मोजे का मूल्य = 144/12 = 12 रुपये
अत: 48 रुपये में खरीदे जा सकते हैं = 48/12 = 4 जोडी मोजे



प्रश्न – 8-एक फैक्ट्री में 2 वर्षों में साइकिल का उत्पादन 40000 से बढकर 48400 हो गया , तो वार्षिक वृद्धि बतायेंं? 
हल:-

प्रश्न – 9-एक कक्षा में दो सेक्शन हैं, जिनमें क्रमश: 20 तथा 30 छात्र हैं, इन दो सेक्शनों की सफलता का प्रतिशत क्रमश: 80% और 60% है, तो पूरी कक्षा की सफलता का प्रतिशत ज्ञात करें ? 
हल: –
सम्पूर्ण छात्र संख्या = 20+30 = 50
पहले सेक्शन में सफल छात्र = 20 का 80% = 16
दूसरे सेक्शन में सफल छात्र = 30 का 60% = 18
कुल सफल छात्र = 16+18 = 34
अत: सफलता का % = उत्तर
